Dilbert Disaster Recovery CartoonBacking up your hard drive is one of the know pain points of personal computing.  Your HD will crash sooner or later and you need to be prepared to recover from this disastrous situation. Your laptop can be lost or stolen. What next ? Traditional backup products are not adequate. What is needed is a no-brainer, easy to setup solution to this problem. The ideal solution is continuous online backup because it provides off-site storage for anytime anywhere recovery of your data.  Up until recently, continuous online backup has been a costly enterprise solution that only deep-pocketed businesses could afford. Luckily, this is no longer the case. If you are interested in learning more about the solution to this problem, check out David Pogue’s video about online backups.

I am going to test some of the solutions that he recommends

and update this post afterwards.
