<p>1) <a TITLE="Apple Official Website" TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www.apple.com">Apple.com </a>- year over year one of the most navigable and pleasant UIs ever made.<br />
2) <a TITLE="New York Times Official Website" TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www.nytimes.com">NYtimes.com</a> &#8211; the most recent redesign has been absolutely superb both above and below the fold.<br />
3) Best use of Flash ever award goes to <a TITLE="Arturo Brachetti Official Website" TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www.arturobrachetti.com">ArturoBrachetti.com</a> One more great reason to feel proud of being Italian <img src='http://www.giuseppetaibi.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> &#8211; BTW I can&#8217;t stand the Sopranos.<br />
4) Best ecommerce site award goes to <a TITLE="Banana Republic Official Website" TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www.bananarepublic.com ">BananaRepublic.com</a> . A rare example of when the web version of a catalog far surpasses the print version. I particularly like the &#8220;Quick Look&#8221; feature activated by rolling over any of the items on sale. <a TITLE="Quick Look Link" HREF=" http://tinyurl.com/y5t26t">See it in action</a>.<br />
5) I like to get weather information from <a TITLE="AccuWeather Official Website" TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://accuweather.com">AccuWeather.com</a> Despite being cluttered, it actually provides a wealth of information about weather that is not found elsewhere. I also like that I can get as much granularity as I want, from hour-by-hour to 15-days forecast. Also great is the <a TITLE="Accuweather Probabilty of Precipitation" TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://tinyurl.com/2nyqpf">AccuPOP™ &#8211; Probability of Precipitation</a>, available in 3-hours chunks.<br />
6) The Palme d&#8217;Or for online banking goes to <a HREF="http://www.bankofamerica.com/onlinebanking/newtestdrive/nonflash/2_2_0.cfm" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="Bank of America Online Banking Demo">Bankofamerica.com</a>. Unsurpassed by anything else that I have seen so far.<br />
7) I am not too crazy about any of the travel websites, but I do like <a HREF="http://www.Travelocity.com" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="Travelocty Official Website">Travelocity.com</a> search form because it offers a choice of Exact dates,<br />
+/- 1 to 3 days, and Flexible dates.</p>
<p>Best of all, I like my <a HREF="http://www.opera.com" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="Opera Official Website">Opera</a> web browser because it offers a wealth of useful features unmatched by any other browser, that&#8217;s right not even Safari or Firefox, from <a TITLE="Opera Thumbnail Preview" TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www.opera.com/img/products/desktop/screenshots/mac/thumbnailpreview.jpg">Thumbnail</a> preview to <a TITLE="Opera SpeedDial" TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www.opera.com/img/products/desktop/screenshots/speeddial.jpg">SpeedDial</a> to integrated <a TITLE="Opera BitTorrent" TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www.opera.com/img/products/desktop/screenshots/mac/bittorrentresults.jpg">BitTorrent</a> support. Did I mentions that is fast as hell ?</p>

One the best features of Opera is &#8220;Paste and go&#8221;. Why? because it allows me to copy a URL from any document (HTML, Word, PDF, PowerPoint, I mean..anything), paste it on the address bar and navigate to it at once. That&#8217;s it. It saves 1 click or one keystroke. It might sound not a big deal but it is a terrific productivity and usability booster. I am surprised that Opera does not prominently promote this unique feature and that other browsers have not copied it yet. If you want to give it a try, you can download Opera for free from <a HREF="http://www.opera.com" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="Go to Opera website">www.opera.com</a></p>
